(no subject)
So I for the Summer I'm interning with NARAL Pro-Choice Washington, which I'm really enjoying. My job is to basically go around to all the different fairs between Tacoma and Snohomish and ask people to sign the petition directed at the Pharmacy Board basically telling them that people want their fucking prescriptions filled. No shit. The only snag is I hate driving, so far I've managed to avoid all driving, but I think I'll have to drive weekend after next to go to Tacoma Pride. But still its a pretty awesome job.
Today I interview for a second, smaller internship with Planned Parenthood, which would consist of answering the emails they receive from their covermypills.org website. I think the interview went well adn the woman who interviewed me reminded me of my Aunt Cathy, lets hope this is a good sign. I'll know by tomorrow afternoon whether or not I get the job.
Taking one class this Summer: Contemporary Feminist Theories and a weight training course at the school gym. Exciting, I know.
Going to finish the end of our xfiles conspiracy episodes streak tonight, excited, but sad its coming to an end.
Looks like we're gonna have a beach house party for the 4th, super exciting! I already got the day off work. woot.
