Begin Vacation Week
I'm officially on vacation as of today (last week was holidays and a Saturday, so while I was off, it wasn't vacation. I know, nitpicky, but it matters to me. Somehow.
Anyway, I spent most of the day not doing much of anything. Peter and I made a George video (below) that came out really cute, and then we had lunch and bought some things at the grocery store and Staple's, and then it was time for me to go to rehearsal.
The show is....going to come together at some point, I know it. It's just not there yet, and I'm not at all in a good place, mindset-wise, to get this done. I'm really fried and I'm exhuasted all the time and this vacation will do me good, but I don't know if it'll be in time to be a helpful director. We're kind of in crisis mode right now, and I hope I can pull it together by the time tech week rolls around. This is definitely the last theater I'm doing in quite some time. I'm just spread too thin and have too much going on, health-wise, to deal with something as demanding as another show.
Besides, videos are easier to do right now. Here's the latest:
