On VACATION!
Hooray! I got through the last day of work before my VACATION!
The office was a ghost town when I arrived this morning. My crew and I didn't have too much work to do, so we set a schedule to get out by noon, which we were able to do. I set my Out of Office message and got out of the office right away.
Laurie and I had some lunch at TGI Friday's, which was a bit of a chore to get to, since everyone seemed to get onto Route 1 at the same time (probably everyone was getting out at lunchtime just like me). Lunch was good, and then I went to the grocery store and picked up the ingredients for stuffed shells for dinner tomorrow night.
I came home and made some Parmesan cheese fricos, which are little crackers made out of melted cheese, for my 3 Ingredient Recipes video and waited for Peter to get home. He came home and we filmed the intro and closing, and then I edited it together and we went to dinner. We used another gift card and got some Mexican food and used another gift card for some candy at It's Sugar. It was pouring when we ran back to the car, and we were drenched by the time we got home.
Tomorrow, I'll be rushing around like a madman. I need to gt stocking stuffers at least, and probably a few more gifts for Laurie and Mom, as well as making the stuffed shells and wrapping all the gifts. Whew! Christmas is always crazy.
