Sunday Slog
A long day today that started early, with all of us having to get up and pack the car to go to York for Christmas brunch at my brother's house. It's a fun time, for sure, but it's also an early morning on the weekend, when we have very little time these days.
We picked up Mom and got to York in an hour. The cousins were there, and we had a lot of bacon (Sean made over 10 pounds for the occasion) as well as eggs and French toast casserole and such. The kids absolutely loved all their gifts, and Peter and I got a bunch of really nice gifts, as well. We even got gift cards to Temazcal and Its Sugar at the outdoor mall near us, so that will make a good evening after Christmas is over, during our time off.
After rehearsal, I started laundry and then went to the theater for rehearsal. Sundays are long rehearsals, starting at 5pm and going through 9pm. Everybody was really good, and I think we're on track for having a good show.
Now I'm home and under my fuzzy blanket and we're watching George the Self Esteem Cat videos on AppleTV, because we can.
