Dancing All Alone

Gabriel had not spent much time in the Garden as she hid from her brother Michael. Today's hiding place was a club just outside of the city.

As the song Cutting by Ayria began to play Gabriel was in the mood to dance in the club and she made her way to the dance floor and began to gracefully dance to the music of the pounding club.

Having no common sense and a general fear of people, Vincent walked into the club, anyway. He saw Gabriel, gave a little half-smile and leaned against one wall.

Gabriel continued to dance then she saw Vincent and smiled walking over to him. "Would you like to dance with me?"

He looks away and down, then back at her. He nods. Three times.

She takes him out to the dance floor and they begin to dance.

He hadn't done this in so long! It was wonderful! And she was so beautiful, dancing with him under the lights!

The song changed to my revenge on the world by Ayria. She seemed happy and peaceful as she danced with Vincent to the music.

He didn't know modern dances, but he picked it up quickly enough. Slowly, he began to feel peaceful, as well.

They continued to dance until the song was finish. Then they went and sat down at the bar.

"I'm so happy to see you."

Most of a smile is returned to her. "Likewise, my dearest."

"Are you feeling alright today? Is that Dr. still giving you problems?"

A little bit of an upset/pained look at the mention of Hojo, and Vincent answers, "I-- am fine."

She hugs him, "Good, I'm glad."

A little smile as he hugs back. She did like to see him happy. It was touching.

"How has the nexus been treating you?" She said in a concerned voice.

[notariverstone]

A little pause. "I think I got LOLed, but I'm not sure. Basi said she'd take care of me, but she asked me questions about Cid that I didn't want to answer, so I left."

((Cid's one of AVALANCHE, the group of young people who rescued Vincent from the coffin. He's actually the oldest, at around 34. Most of them are in their 20s. But Vincent found out he was accidentally at fault for Cid's father's death, the way I ran plot, so the two don't have quite as happy a relationship, any more.))

"I'm a little rusty on my healing abilities but I can try to cure your LOL if I fail Raphael could cure you. I'm sorry to hear about that Vincent."
