I know how dead the 100 Snapshot challenge is to me, and I felt extremely guilty and unrestful knowing that I haven't done anything since god knows when. So I went ahead and finally started to edit some of the photos I took ages ago (i.e. last summer holiday when I went back to China).
Most of these photos are taken in the Forbidden City, Beijing. Regardless of having been an old palace for close to 2 dynasties I love this place since the first time I had visited (when I was around 9), it's just so big and fabulous!! True part of it looks kinda creepy coz some rooms have been locked for many decades and there's been numerous death/murder within the palace, and you guess it, apparently one of the most haunted place in Beijing because of the said deaths/murders as well as the paint they used which contains substance you find in modern video cassettes, so it kinda records what used to take place there and replay it when the moisture level and temperature is right. Or something along that line. But yeah. The place is amazing!!
Whoever decides to pay Beijing a visit has to go there! It takes up the entire day and still won't have enough time to walk through the entire site and your body will protest in pain by the end of the day... but with a good guide/Chinese history geek (e.g. me...) it's definitely worth the money and effort.
Enough advertisement for the Forbidden City. Here're the photos.
6. Forever
15. More (taken in Raffle Hotel, Singapore. Complementary snack to all wines, beer and cocktails. We were fortunate enough to order and enjoy the very first two glasses of the famous Singapore Sling, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. It's definitely a girly drink. My dad was sort of embarrassed by the vibrant/radioactive pink colour of the drink. LOL.)
19. Within
22. Torn (if it looks familiar then yes, it is where you think you last saw it, now shush.)
47. Statue
71. Lock
73. Rust
Yeah. Still a few more, but too sleepy and sick to do anything about them.
Meanwhile, still hoping to get a Nikon for my birthday/Christmas. I simply don't understand my dad. He likes photography and wants me to continue with taking random photos and stuff and offered me the Canon, but the thing is I don't want a freaking Canon!! I want a Nikon!!!!
Well. It's not like I can use the Canon or anything since he's so busy taking 'real photographs' with 'my' Canon.
Urgh, adults.
