 It could be I just have low expectation since I never really watched any of the original series, but I really really really enjoyed it!

Well, besides the interesting plot, i guess a large part is thanks to the canon and apparently the first slash pairing - Kirk/Spock. There's just too much for me to handle, and for those of you who know me well

I was thinking the same thing before i watched the movie, once i did, my world literally shifted in 180. Xtina and I were actually criticizing how humanly impossible for people to find Spock attractive but afterwards we were like ... *melts*
