Those Darned Bees
So yeah. Removed the fluorescent lights. Removed random boards and panels. Opened up the ceiling to the rafters. Skylights now much more effective. Installed some nice soft hanging light fixtures between the rafters for nighttime. Also up there: surround sound speakers. New rug (really ties the room together). Teevee gone. In its place: 6' movie screen and projector on loan from landlady. Also added: Wii.
So anyway, I'm playing Galaga, and I start to wonder when it was in videogame progression that we accepted that something that goes off one side of the screen will return on the other? How does this make any sense whatsoever? The only thing I can figure in Galaga is that the spacehips than pop up the z-axis and move back around behind my head, them come back down. Otherwise, it makes no sense.
Also: Super Mario Bros. is hard.
