I always feel so cheated when things that have potential are faffed off like this. blahhh. Not that I have anything against female vocalists, nor anything against synth music. Quite the opposite. But there's something very miss with this. The emotion is lost under the sound effects.

lol... Now I'm trying to think of a way to get a band that I know to cover this properly.

My Theodore's (Nott) world got crushed a little when he heard the actual song it came from. He's a Pisces, so he feeds on escapism and emotion. And this was just... empty. Void of anything heartfilled. It's. Rrrrr, aggravating.

Darling, you can say Theodore in any context, and I will always think of Theodore Nott. He has his special place in my heart. (The character himself and over half the portrayals of him that I've seen.)

Mhm, rather. I adore character associated songs, so this was a huge letdown. Because the words are just... spot on.

The feeling is entirely mutual.

I've learned the hard way that I am not allowed to look at lyrics until I have already heard the song. And, even then, there's so much disappointment. Words sung with such feeling having flakey lyrics.

I have this document filled with quotes and lyrics and book excepts and what have you, all picked out and seen as from a character's POV. I think I might have reached over ten pages at this point. So, in a way, it doesn't really matter, because the words themselves are beautiful and strong just by being words. And they're great inspiration, of course.

... Maybe I would? Bribe me.
