Today was a long, interesting, fulfilled day. At school I finally convinced my teacher to let me bring in the Grand am. I got the project started pretty quick. Maybe ill have her fixed by time for my vacation. that would rock. We had some cadillac bein a pain in the butt too. anyway, went to work, had an alright time, nothing big deal, but my mom calls and tells me to pick up some sugar on the way home for a baking project. When I'm fixin to leave winn-dixie, this white dude comes up to me and is like "my wife is right over there, and we need some money for food. we're homeless right now". first instinct: alcohol store next door.. hmmmm. I asked him if they liked mcdonalds and told him i'd take them if he wanted. he didn't seem very grateful when he said they have to wait there for somebody. I told him i'd go pick some up and come right back and to wait for me. He said sure. No thank you or nothing. heh. So i'm on the way to mcdonalds and i see this black dude i remember from advance auto parts...
sub story: This dude came up to me and was talking like he knew me wanting to know where i live and my phone number. at that time i gave him fake information. Little did i know i'd see him again today...
back to now: anyway he stops me and said "i need some gas money. I told him i was fixin to help these people and that i didnt really have much money. i mean, gas is expensive, mcdonalds isnt lol. Anyway, he asked me for a ride and i said "hop in". He's all sweet talking me and tellin me about his broke down civic and he needs gas and all that. I get four hot n spicy's for the ppl and got Sam (the black dude) a small drink. So we get back to winn dixie and the couple wasn't there. I waited a couple minutes before leaving, and sam asked if i could give him a ride home. He lived nearby, so i said sure. I said "since they were just wanting beer, ill give you a hot n spicy and this large drink. I get to his house and said here go ahead and have another you look hungry. He was sooo grateful and constantly thanked God and me and he really seemed sincere. He wanted me to look at his Civic so i did for him, the whole time watching my pockets and my car. As for his problem, he had a loose linkage on his clutch, but i couldnt fix it right then, so i told him i'd come back tomorrow after i look on the computer. He kept sayin we should hang out, askin me where i lived, and askin my phone number, and i told him nicely that i didnt give that information to strangers, he didn't seem to mind, seemed very grateful for all the help. I left feelin helpful and here i am.
I hope he's gonna do alright, just keep him in prayer.
Time to CHILL peace
