I've officially become a news junkie. I just started obsessively checking sites that I know have early exit polls- not really to get any sort of clear idea of "kerry's winning" or anything, but more for the general trend- and am counting down until polls close in KY, GA, and a couple others (7 pm EST!). Something they never tell you in the history books, though, is that except for those few thrilling moments, the vast majority of history making is boring. Most of the time is spent waiting, it seems, listening to the same old stuff being said by the same old people. Looking back, of course, this will all be distilled down to the exciting moments of when each state is announced and the "final" winner is announced/the lawsuits start. Fascinating.
I had intended to actually say something about my life currently, but politics is taking all my attention currently. Stay tuned for my exciting revelations about the thrill ride that is my life and/or rants (accompanied by frothing at the mouth? we shall see) about the state of our nation. Woot!
