Sock Meme (or Why I am Behind with Work)
Meme, via selenak via penknife: Make a list of your favorite pairings and explain who would pick up the socks and why.
I can't improve on penknife's answers for combinations of Jack, Elizabeth, Will, and James but, once again, nobody loves Barbossa...
Jack/Barbossa: have mostly learned to put their own socks away. This has been achieved after long years of picking up each others' and hiding them.
Jack/Bill: Bill knits Jack socks, reminds him to wear them, reminds him to take them off, picks them up, washes and dries them, reminds him to wear them... Jack doesn't see the point of socks, but he wishes Bill would wear more jewelry.
Jack the Monkey: likes to take single socks, never pairs, to build nests high up in the rigging.
