hi... remember me?
time for another update. i really need to get into the habit of writing again. it's one of my best traits and losing it would be disappointing. plus, i'm paying for this ish, man! hehe.
so what is up in the life of moi...
been busy getting my act together for school. i'm actually enjoying my art history classes this semester, and am seriously thinking about taking 3 more next semester. it's crazy, but i really think i want to. leaving studio classes for summer school would be easier attained anyhow, seeing as lectures aren't offered that often during summer. i was estimating that i would be done in summertime, but i found out that they're offering a second course in web design during next fall; i really enjoyed my class during this past summer, so i'm thinking about it... we'll see how it works out.
Pinky caught tail rot 9 days ago. i've been treating her with a M1/M2 combo; she's been given 2 sessions (her last day is tomorrow) and she's recovering very well. in fact, i think i see some white on the tip of her tail, which is a good sign, i've read that secondary bacterial infections usually follow fin & tail rot, so i'll be treating her with Tetracycline (again-- hopefully she's not immune to it by now) to fight that off. i really hope this will kill her fungus. that shit just never seemed to go away. fungus is EVIL.
i had a dream about Aqua last night; how i had given him up to Judy for an art project. and when the semester was over and she was leaving (she moved to Oregon), i tried to ask for Aqua back and she wouldn't give him up! i was so bummed! when i woke up i realized that i would have never given Aqua or sacrificed him for a project. it was really ridiculous for me to dreamt such a thing. but in retrospect, it did bring back memories of my chubby-wubby. miss you, Aqua!
Leo & Puma are still with us, thankfully. they went to their appointment last month, and all went well. they got their shots, were cleaned, flea-groomed, neutered, and ears tipped. we've kept them in the patio since them and have been working on socializing them. it's tough, but i think we're actually getting somewhere. i know for sure they're used to us now. we do adore them so.
i think it's safe to say i'm always stressed cause of schoolwork. the load is so demanding, i honestly don't know how people are full-time art students. they must have no life and no job. and if they do, and still get As, then shit i give them props. wish i could handle it. something's always due. it's like i never get a break. i can't wait until the semester's over. we're only in our 7th week. by winter, i finally get a break!
and it's so close to the end of the year, it went by in a flash! Bay and i made it throught all the weddings, and we have one more to go to this year. man, another wedding shower and bachelorette party... those seriously drain my funds... gotta save up and stop spending for a while, i guess. at least i get to buy new shoes for the wedding (yay, time to go back to ALDO!). :D
last but not least, i am craving me some Sawyer. that man is so sexy. rahr.
