I've had a relapse but I'm terrified to tell anyone, because I think I've failed on recovery.

It's alright to have a relapse, just make sure you pick yourself right up again and go back to abstaining from whatever you relapsed into rather than letting the relapse affect your resolve.

recovery is never easy so expecting everything to go smoothly is just setting yourself up to be let down

don't be afraid to ask for help

Today my teacher asked us what we would ask for if we had one wish. We all wrote them down anonymously and he read them out.

Out of the entire class, there were 8 wishes for cars, 2 wishes to be a rock star, 12 for money, 4 to meet a favorite celebrity, 3 for designer clothes, and 5 for an all expenses paid vacation.

I've never been so disappointed with my peers in my entire life. Out of thirty five students 34 of them would waste their one wish on materialistic things.

I just wished that my mom were alive.

They were just fortunate enough to not lose their mothers. I'm sorry for your loss, but judging them based on something that meaningless is pointless and a waste of your time.

i emotionally latch onto any guy that is physically affectionate with me. i have incredibly low self-esteem ... and 'any guy' includes guys at bars. which is sad and pathetic, but i can't help it.

i don't know what to do

Just be strong. Don't actually let them get "physically affectionate" with you until they are emotionally affectionate.

Honestly, I would have thought it were simple to see.

logic doesn't work with people who have low self-esteem or other issues. peopple can't help the way they feel.

Actually, if one is open to it, logic works for everyone. And people can help the way they feel. Positive mind-sets will change how one feels if one allows it. The only thing keeping people back from changing is themselves.

The only reason I'm taking AP Physics is because I have a huge crush on the teacher.

Bad idea. Trust me on this one.

Didn't get me anything except some fun dreams and a drop in my overall average.

Physics is great if you're good at it, and if you're genuinely interested in it. If not, you might want to drop that course and just admire the hotness in the halls instead.
