Holy FUCKING shit. CocoRosie............ they are fucking fantastic why didn't anyone tell me? Last night they just blew me away, both their voices are just amazing. <3 <3
Antony was great, it was all very beautiful. The only song I didnt like was the Starfish one, ive never liked that. Just because he says starfish - it reminds me of Limp Bizkit which is bad ha ha.
He sang Hope theres someone near the end and i felt all teary... I also loved 'dirt will crack again' which id never heard before.
He was a funny little(?) man as well, making us all hum along and telling us about getting his ear unblocked and now being able to hear differently, then launching into - everything is new. ha ha.
Ive been reading some feedback on the gig and lots of people hated Cocorosie - wtf? I was so impressed I bought their album & am going to their gig at Northcote.
I also managed to get a super seat. I got it off Ebay and it was in the fourth row. I also met all the guys that I got the ticket off and they were all awesome so I didnt really end up sitting by myself after all :)
