[Faye isn't stupid. She's been here long enough to know that, when the Animus get up to their stupid shenanigans, these things tend to appear on Sunday and disappear the following Sunday. Like clockwork. Since it's Saturday, this damn flashing heart bubble is most likely going to go away tomorrow, and so all she should do is wait patiently.
However. Think about who we're talking about here. "Wait patiently" isn't exactly a phrase that exists in her vocabulary.
As of right now, having this... thing... above her head has gotten on her last nerve. So she has decided to take matters into her own hands. Said "taking matters into her own hands" involves grabbing the nearest sharp object (which happens to be a very large kitchen knife) and throwing it at the bubble of hearts in an attempt to pop it. No one said it was a smart plan. But she doesn't have any better ideas.
What the PCD actually picks up is a loud clatter of knife on floor, followed by an exclamation from someone who sounds like they're very frustrated. And who may or may not have injured herself spectacularly with said stupid, desperate plan.]
