I dreamt of you tonight. It was certainly unexpected. We were sitting on my couch. My hand in yours as you wrote on it. When you hand me back my marker I snuck my fingers over to yours and you laced them with mine. This time you didn't leave. We were alone. You held me close as if you would float away if you didn't. It was all just us. When we were down in the washing room you kissed me. Of course all slow motion as if a movie was being played. I was wrenched back into reality by my alarm clock. And just like that, you were gone again. You really are like the dream. Just a figment of my imagination. I still look for you. I peered into the hoods of those who waited for the Community Service van this morning. You weren't there. I looked at the faces of the people in the court house. They weren't you. They are never you. They'll never be you.
