I think I've figured out why I'm having a hard time really getting into new music lately.

I'm not doing a lot in my life.

All the best music I listen to reminds me of a period in my life.

Sure there are some things going on in my life right now, and some songs remind me of those things (and people), but you can only attach so many songs subconsciously to the same mediums.
