First period

This morning was quite eventful. In first period, we were playing a game (I can't recall the name of it, lol). It was like a combination of football, golf, and baseball, which involves a garbage bin. Three people had to go up and bat their own football, which was positioned on a big tee. The people who were on the outer field had to collect the footballs (after they've been batted) and throw them into the garbage bin, but each football would have to be passed to at least three different people before it could get inside the bin. Anyway, when our team was out on the outer field, someone batted the football, which hurtled towards the back of the gym. Since I was standing in the back, I ran to get the football and this guy, Nick, was after it, as well. I hastily picked up the ball and flung it backward, without glancing back. When I fully turned around, I realized that I had just hit him square in the face. I knew he was behind me, but I didn't think he'd be only about two feet away! My friends and these guys began to break out laughing, while trying to suppress it at the same time. I was like, OMFG and cried out an apology, while he was walking back to the central part of the gym. I looked at my friends and began to laugh, too. I honestly don't mean to, but you can't really help it sometimes! Anyway, I felt immensely guilty throughout the rest of the period and decided I was going to properly apologize to him in third period. At first, I was really apprehensive that I'd made his nose bleed, but that was a false outcome, thank goodness.

This is geology, so we had to go to the computer lab to work on this online mineral testing activity. I occupied myself at a two-seat table near the window and coincidentally, Nick happens to take the seat right beside me. There was few seconds of silence until I finally said, "Sorry about hitting you in the face." Then, he responded, "It's alright" and explained about how he previously had a brief minor concussion before that incident. All I've managed to say was, "Whoa, that sucks." Ugh...stupide! Anyway, he was really cool about the whole thing. Honestly, I think he's pretty hot, hehe (actually, I think I thought that about him during the first few days or weeks of school, lol). Unfortunately, just as I was about to log onto my account, I noticed that the log-in screen was frozen. I tried pressing every possible, harmless key to get it to unfreeze, but to no avail. I had to find myself another computer to work with. And just when I find a working computer, the frozen one starts working again! Another girl had taken a spot there. :(
Although on the brighter side, school's not in session tomorrow. :)
