Come on... 4 double spaced pages on the line from a film: "I'm not a coward, but I'm scared" or... "What mechanisms can you use to distract yourself from a problem". In English, I wouldn't have enough to write. If I did, I'd be embarassed to have anyone read it.
So I've been sitting here, on my window-sill for the past 4 hours doing everything /but/ my "small compositions". I've drank tea, checked my email multiple times, checked all major Canadian newspapers, ate shawarma, refilled the balance on my cellphone, typed up my handwritten homework, etc...
If I had trouble writing something in Toronto, I'd just change locations: Starbucks, a library, a bench, a friend's place, etc... The problem with St. Petersburg is that I haven't discovered any cute places where I can work and feel comfortable. Can you really be that comfortable at a cafe that serves espresso, sushi, and salads with mayonaise? Cute and comfortable isn't really built into this post-imperial land.
Here I am.
God. It's getting late for not having started my homework. Only 24 hours of in-class time left.

PS Cute cafe where I ate chocolate truffles with friends! In Tallinn.
