Hello, darkness, my old friend
I can't believe that this is my first post since coming to Tampa. I guess I've been a little slack with that >_> So, I've been here for almost two weeks now, and in some scary way, it feels as though I've never actually been living in Canada prior to this. The thought definitely does make me sad, since it all just feels like it sped by while I blinked and missed it all.
The memories are still there, and that's all that counts.
ANYWAY!
Quite a bit has happened since I arrived here, while at the same time nothing at all has happened D:
My Mum and youngest sister are having a pretty shitty time back home. I feel a little sorry for them since the way they've been treated would have definitely put me off as well, and I didn't want them ever getting thoughts of not wanting to go back. I really can't be bothered going into the details here as it is, but all I can say is that I hope things straighten themselves out again by the time June comes around.
In other family related news, Choccie (my sister's 11yr old cat) had to be put down at the beginning of the week. We're all a little depressed over that since he was such a wonderful cat. My poor little man. It was for the best though since he was going downhill really quickly, but I'm definitely glad that I got to see him one last time.

OKAY! So now that the RL matters are brushed over and out of the way~ fandom news \o/
I have to easily say that I'm currently adoring soul_campaign like there's no tomorrow ♥ omg, I don't think I've felt this 'at-home' in a RPG... like... ever. I've already got two characters over there atm, but I'm considering maybe picking up a third as well - although I haven't decided which one yet. I was considering Yuber, but after trying him out again to see if I could get his voice, he wasn't entirely doing it for me. One good thing about that is that I managed to bump into the old Gremio RP'er from damned lmao It was so totally random as well since we hadn't spoken since they dropped the game back in 2007 (was it?). So that was pretty neat even if I probably won't ever take Yuber back up. I did test out another possible Tassadar muse, and homg I have to admit that I did enjoy that one. I'm tempted to try picking him up elsewhere, but I might leave him as a possible option should I not find anyone else.
Oh, and did I happen to mention that I'm absolutely thrilled and excited over the fact that... THERE IS AN ACTIVE AND GROWING KYOU KARA MAOU CAST GOING ON at SC? /dies. Currently there's only a Gwendal and my Yuuri, but there's a Saralegui, Wolfram and a Julia app already in, and after the 14th of Feb, there will be a Conrad application as well ♥ ♥ ♥ I am very excited over this. I've never played with anyone other than a Wolfram \o/

One last little thing. I know it's like.... 29 days late.... but I've decided to try my hand at the 'picture a day' meme that a few on my f-list has been doing. So! Starting from today! (the 29th of Jan) I will try to keep myself on track with this meme until the 28th of Jan 2011 ♥
So this is basically where I do most of my RPing. Very exciting stuff. You can see the black void which is my laptop, and my nearly empty glass of water. And despite how they look, OMG those chairs are so damn comfortable ♥
