I haven't had two consecutive days off from work in almost 4 weeks, and now I'm really starting to feel it. It's probably why I'm so looking forward to Monday and Tuesday next week which will be my first two days off in a row in ages. I plan to do almost nothing throughout that entire time.
...Granted... I've got to book my flight down to Vancouver for Jan for when Chrissy finally flies into Canada \o/
To those on my f-list, anyone got any suggestions of what to do in Vancouver for a week during winter? I can think of things to do for two or three days, but yeah, I'm sucking at thoughts beyond that =\ at least flights are cheap at that point I told my boss that I'd need that time off from work, and that I'd probably be taking a week off as well in March, August, and Sept or Oct. She was surprised and all like 'I don't think so' but all I said to her in response was 'well, I'll just quit then >.>'. While I do enjoy the job, I'm not going to stay there if they won't give me the time off that I need. I'm here to see Canada and not just work here all the time -coughs-
What else? Not much really. Work's been killing me dead when it comes to muses, and it's hard kicking them into gear. Is the Christmas season over yet? I'm so sick of it already... damn retail
At least there's a higher possibility of being able to finally have a white Christmas. I'd been worried that I wouldn't get it, but I hear that next week it's meant to hit -25C (13F) degrees here. Not a lot of people are looking forward to it, but I certainly am. I want my white Christmas dammit -shakes fist-
Oh, thinking of being an Aussie and being overseas, I helped this one customer in the store yesterday, and the moment he opened his mouth I knew he was an Aussie... and not just any Aussie, but one from the north. Gah! Their accent is so damn thick =\ All the girls I was working with that day were like 'omg! He was so damn hot' and I was just like... yeah... sorry, North Aussie guys just really aren't my thing >_>;;; Give me the Southerners over them any day.
I get commented on with my accent at work, a lot. To the point where some people now stalk me there just to hear my accent -sighs- it's kind'a scary when they just loiter around just so then you can say goodbye to them >.> I hadn't realised that Canadian's liked the Aussie accent that much, but it could be that it's just because I'm in one of the smaller towns/city? Whatever the hell you'd call Kamloops! :O It's sort'a between the two, me thinks?
Anyway. I know there's more stuff, but I a) can't think of it atm, and b) can't be bothered writing any more.
