i'm a be down wit the clown

i worked in EMT yesterday and today. so i basically hung out in the back of the ambulance with kids while the other "doctor" i was working with drove us to our patient (a volunteer kid). the patient gets blood paint put on their face and sits and waits to be rescued at the fair, or rock climbing wall, or any other random spot in the park. (they say they fell off the ferris wheel, or got hit by a bus....) when we get there the kids check the patients heart rate, put splints on their arms and legs.... me and my partner pull the stretcher out, put the kid on it, and put them in the ambulance with all the other kids and take the patient back to the hospital, into the ER room, (where other kids are waiting to be ER doctors). then we pay all the kids that worked in the EMT and do it all over again. man, i would have friggin loved this place when i was a kid. and adults aren't allowed to do any of the cool jobs, like me and desi talked about doin. but working there is the loop hole cause i get to play :) but i was a little disapointed not to be in circus. poor skittles.
