sick
So I started getting sniffly yesterday and I thought it might just be allergies since it's about that time of year. Well I started feeling more horrible last night and I take my temp...102.4. Dammit. Well I took some Ibuprofen this morning and I feel way better and my fever's gone but I wish I would have thought to do that last night. I just took Nyquil thinking that would do the trick but unfortunately I should have remembered that Nyquil is not an antipyretic. Oh well. I will be prepared for tonight.
I've been trying to study for my first pediatrics test but it's been slow going. Not feeling good plus knowing the house needs to be straightened up for Tuesday when the pet sitter will show up for his preliminary visit is filling up my thoughts. Any excuse to procrastinate I guess. I'll have to buckle down tomorrow but I also have to get my hair cut since Graduation Pictures are Monday!! Woo hoo! Not graduating til December, but still. All this crap that we're taking care of ahead of time makes me happy. It just makes graduation seem that much more real.
And I'm glad I'm sick now in a way...at least I'm not sick right before the Nashville trip which is happening a week from Tuesday :) I'm kind of nervous about it (for reasons I won't go into right now) but I am going to try to look on the bright side...
Well I need to try and call my mom again. I want to make brown rice in my rice cooker but I need to use more water than is called for for white rice so I'm stalking her to glean some cooking tips.
