I HAVE to go get comics today... gotta pick up LTB #1!! Hooray!
Gonna read this with the kids tonight and then let Mike know what they though.
Incidentally, I talked with Mike for about an hour monday night. What an interesting and enlightening conversation. I'm still having nothing to do with the used car salesmen (i.e. Les Dabel).. I just can't believe that they aren't taking more heat from the industry especially after the closeness of the Crossgen meltdown... Unacceptable.
Grrrrrr... Anyway.. where was I? Oh.. comics.. yeah. Man.. Gimoles looks absolutely fucking BEAUtiful! I never did get Monster Club, but MAN can Theo draw! can't wait.
Supreme Power comes out today as well! Besides Planetary (which I read Sunday on the way home from Chicago... awesome read!), this has got to be one of my favorite books ever!
You know.. now that i've though of PLanetary.. It makes me think of Warren Ellis. And the other day I went searching around LJ for some Ellis goodness. And that I did find, his novel, or something. Have it bookmarked, now i need to check it out... Also found an Ellis LJ that has feeds from his website.. after more exploring.. I find myself in a wierd LJ and then in some chick's BDSM website!
You know.. there's some stuff out there in cyberspace that I just wasn't meant to see. *shakes head* I mean.. i'm for whatever floats your boat, as long as you aren't harming others, etc.. but some things I just don't understand. People I just don't understand sometimes. Whatever, I guess.
The world just needs more stoners... lol...
but kewl ones.. not the skeevy sleezy nasty kind. lmao.
ahhhhh... is the week over yet?
So.. I need to come up with a concept for J's new game. I'm thinking of leaving the dwarven race behind for once! (yeah.. i know. i'm scared too...
lol ) I just wish I could come up with some kick ass concept.. and THEN actually be able to roleplay it... I just have trouble... not playing me! I can do it with scripts and lines, etc.. but when I make up the dialogue.. the actions.. the decisions... that's tough for me at times. The problem with indecision in MY life creeps into my character and I don't know how to stop it. Just let go.. i know. i've tried. easier said than done. Although I was really starting to get that way with Torin.. so we'll see how this one goes. I'm thinking of a Ranger. Maybe even going mutliclass.. I like the idea of a Druid or Cleric as well... but he's going to have some Rogue ties and that would work also... Just need to sit down and read thru the manual. I've got a good idea of the concept in my head and I don't NEED to make the detailed descriptions right now.. but it sure wil help me flesh it out..
Oh.. Illini kicked major Ass last night. I was in Heaven! :D
Got to see Peyton on Letterman too... What a class act he is! *gushes with pride at being a fan*
Edge and Miami rumors are cicling again... sucks... although I tell you what. If we could trade him for some bigger defensive talent.. i'm all for it. The offense WOULD suffer though. Edge is a bigger part than people think... ah well.
