senior dinner dance
tonight was the school senior dinner dance. *tear*
i had a lot of fun because even though not every 12th grader is my best friend, we all know each other. there was this feeling the whole time that no one was really more popular. everyone was dancing, the food was good (except for the chicken...yuck lol) especially good was the French silk pie! i <3 chocolate. it was just all around pretty cool.
the senior superlatives were pretty funny. jim boden as most memerable... lol you'd have to know the kid. he's so obnoxios but you can't help love him. dana smith and carlos olivera got the class artist award... they're cool people. there's no one i seriously dislike, everyone's usually nice.
the first song was something by ACDC and we had a mosh pit going! that was great. two people crowd surfed but when the vp came over and scolded everyone and shut off the music the crwod started chanting "bullshit bullshit!" hahaha...they started with the "0-4 0-4 0-4" too. i got pics :D the music still hadn't come on so jimmy boden and the rest of the clowns got together to sing kumbaya...entertaining...
and i danced with my very good friend (probably my best guy friend) rob a couple of times. he's so tall and skinny! but he rocks so we took a picture. ian is awesome, too, so i got a pic with him. i'll have to stick them up here some time.
it was cool too because like a kid i was really good friends with in 7th grade patted me on the back but i haven't talked to him for 6 years. i'm going to buy the senior class video. this was so much better than prom. less preparation necessary and you don't need a date. yay! steph nobles decided to pour water on leah because she was complaining of being overheated...lol i <3 cameras too!
"the graduation song" came on second to last and all the seniors got together in a huge circle and just swayed together. that was cool. and our final "theme song" was "time of your life" Green Day. more awesomeness from an awesome band! i think i'm going to cry just thinking about this stuff!
everything was so memerable. i'm going to be so sad on graduation! all my friends were always saying how they were going to cry on graduation and i always was like "are you kidding?? i'm going to be estatic! i don't think i could be happier!" but after tonight i know i'll need tissues come june 2nd.
