6 Days of youth...
Yeah thats right... only 6 days left till im fucking a half century old. Suck!

This weekend was pretty ok. Beats all the freakin drama I got stuck dealing with at work!! Andrew was out, Jenn is still on vacation, and Cheri was out for half the week. Plus, there was drama with one of our partners because a member of the team decided to be stupidly rude and blunt on the phone. Then following that, there was crazy arguing between that member and 2 others on the team that put me in a tough spot. Since im in charge when Andrew is out, I had to do something. I emailed all 3 managers in the department, and had to chat with 2 of the team leads and the new HR person. Not fun at all. I felt like I was in 3rd grade tattling on someone... however, her actions were very 3rd grade so... I dont know. It was all stupid bullshit that hopefully will go away. Ill probably have to meet with Jeff and Andrew, who were both on vacation when it all went down. Good times!
Friday night couldnt come fast enough, thats for sure. This weekend was relatively productive and somewhat lazy. I got some laundry done, did some shopping, baked 2 kinds of delicious cookies, made pasta, made some progress on things for the Alumni group, got my ass kicked at the gym again (although I slept through Zumba... oops!), and hung out with the wifey. Yay for watching "In and Out" finally! SUCH a great movie. Lol.

The madre left for the Cape on Saturday. She will be down there till the end of the week probably. Lucky! I wanted to head down there yesterday because it was SO gorgeous out, but there was no way I was gonna face the awkwardness that would be me + my mom = Ernest. NO WAY!
I do think that the girls and I will be heading down the first weekend in August, which will be a great! I also am hoping to head to the beach next Sunday! Woohoo! I miss the beach.

There's a concert on the common going on right now. I totally forgot that those existed. Nothing will ever beat with The Platters came years ago!!

The sun will be setting soon. Its nice that that happens so late now. Guess ill hang out here to see it and then probably crash. Its gonna be a nutty week. Working while TOTALLY not wanting to, Sox game, 4th Extravaganza, facing the big 25... oy!
