There's a child where I work who has been hospitalized with mono. I wasn't aware mono could get that bad, but then, what do I know about things like that?
Heroes was good tonight. There was FINALLY - after one and a half seasons - someone who had the particualr power that's always been one of my favorites, so yay for that? Especially since he got Sylarized and thus Sylar now has one of my favorite superpoweers (yes I am being vague here on purpose for poor people who don't get Heroes as quick as me). Sylar is also slowly clawing his way back onto my "Y HELO THAR I KINDA LIKE YOU" list, as well as Peter. My current favorites also include "Nemesis!" and (of course) Hiro. And Matt. But Mohinder clearly has caught the idiot ball this season. PASS IT ALREADY MOHINDER.
Um. I have a math exam tomorrow. Have I mentioned I hate math?
I also want it to be November.
What else, what else...
Marillion has broken my Last.fm beyond repair, I think. I dunno, I try and try to change my music so it looks like I am a more varied and artistic and well rounded person, but then I go "....huh, I really feel like listening to
Brave. Ok, so I really feel like listening to Brave nine times in a row." (If you click the link, please pretty please listen to Track 4, (Goodbye To All That: Wave/Mad/The Opium Den/The Slide/Standing In The Swing). They remind me of a mix of Floyd and Dream Theater, only more mellow than DT.
I also made a book cover for my NaNo. I know the Nano site has tiny specifications, but...I dunno, I wanted to do something fun and mostly pointless and

deviantART I was working on a short story I started for BtTatT. I'm hesitant to even call it a short story, because a short story, to me, has a definite beginning and a definite end; mine tend to pick up whereever and leave whereever. Sooner or later I will come up with some form of framework - maybe a narrator, ala The Illustrated Man? But that doesn't really work for the BtTatT universe so well - but apparently that's not a big thing for right now. Right now all I really know is I am writing a story to explain one of Chach's scars, his and Russel's relationships, and the psychological differences between Chach's dreamstate and "normal" people's dreams. I was having a really tough time figuring out how to end it until Albrecht and Grant wrote their way in. This is significant, mostly because They That Watch like to taunt my writing from afar. This warrants further investigation.
And now it is time to go cram more math equations into my crying brain. Talk to you all later.
