Well, I woke up at 3:30 this morning. Not got up, mind you, just woke up. Still, through all the cold and drudgery I was in the lab and productive by 5AM. I had a Geology exam at 8 and needed to get some studying time in.
Well, the exam went well. Or at least as good as I could expect considering the time I spent studying for it. Afterward I headed to Hunter and the computer lab...
And my email wasn't working. Yay! So I called IT Services and went through all the rigmarole. The youngin' who I spoke to actually had the gall to tell me I hadn't given my full email address- that it was one number short. Not, I told him, when you've been here as long as I have...
Eventually got that all squared away. I'd just got to thinking how something from Java City would be nice when I realized my sleep wasn't the only casualty of the morning. I'd left my wallet and card in the room. Sigh. Just one of those days...
Well, I dazed out online a bit and got through my shift. Then to my Biology class and finally to my Geology lab. It was interesting, to say the least, and my lab partner was maxing out her ADD. Still, I was sleep deprived and worn out so everything got a lot funnier than it should have been and took a lot longer. Still, we did manage to finish in and hour and a half, which is quite an accomplishment for that lab. Even the professor was impressed- he said people usually had to take the lab home with them to finish.
From there I headed over to Presby and snagged some leftovers. Then my hour nap doubled into two. Still, I finally got back to the room and got my ducks in a row.
The good news? Not much left of today and soon I'll be able to crash. But tomorrow will bring its own challenges...
