Well, here I be sitting at UNCA awaiting 6 so I can go to class.
Mind you, until a day or so ago, I didn't think this class started until March.
I mean, when the syllabus on their website says class starts 3/1...I was foolish to believe it.
So I'm here in Asheville again. Luckily, I was able to bum a ride last night from a friend who works here Monday nights. A thrilling day all around, I finally got the last of my tax stuff and got that all taken care of. Just need to find some stamps and mail it off.
What's on my mind these days is a post-graduate degree. The question is, is it all rumor and supposition or will it really start cranking in the Fall? Of equal importance, will the Provost get Western upgraded so that post graduate degree can be a PhD? Those and many more questions, I hope, will be answered tonight.
It's more than a little disturbing that, after a decade of higher education, how willing I am to jump in for three more years. Well see- I might even get a job or something...
