Mm.. no. But, we got some pops-icles in Fl-orida. They are really yummy. Um, cherry and pie-nn-apple.

Why don't we go there then. We can sit out by the pool, just me and you!

Mommy does not want us there in the day-time. It is real-ly hot. But, we got the pot-pop-sicles here.

Is that not what the pool is for?

It is really really warm. I think you will not like it. But.. if you want to go, we can go.

You are the one that wanted to talk, so we ca also go to the beach here if you want. That way, wherever it is, it's just the two of us and we won't be interrupted by little people.

Okay, then lets get popsicles and go to the porch.

[gives her a smile and nods; moves to the kitchen and pulls his step-stool out, so he can reach into the freezer]

One for you. [hands her a popsicle] And one for me.

[takes the popsicle] Thank you. [Opens the door and holds it, until Max walks out. Follows him onto the porch.]

[waves for her to sit on the porch swing and gets comfortable; plops down next to her and stares at his popsicle for a moment]

Mel.... a lot of stuff hap-end when you were gone.

[reaches and ruffles the top of his hair, then straightens it] I know, Sweetpea. I didn't intend to be gone as long as I was, but duty called.

You were doin' 'port-ent things. [gives her a smile] That is why you are a Ad-miral. [starts on his popsicle] May-be one day, I will be that 'port-ent, too.
