Grab James and join the party! Max is camping with Massey, so it's just me and the tiny people. We thought we'd terrorize the beach for a while!

That sounds like fun! I'll be there in a few minutes.

[elari_brooks]

I told the kids, they're cheering. We're packing a picnic, so bring something if you want. Something that'll stay good outside in the heat.

I promised we'd stop at Sal's on the way.

James is happy, too. I'll put a basket together.

Oh, yum!

We'll be outside in the front yard making sure Tinny does his thing before we go. Don't want any beach accidents.

Yeah, that will be bad. I'll meet you outside then.

On our way!

[sets down her padd and waits for Becky to come out of the house. whistles for Tinny to come to her so she can put his leash on. gathers the three toddlers and tells them that Mama is on her way and they'd be leaving soon.]

[walks out of the house with James leading the way, holding his pale and shovel in each hand. He drops his shovel.] Uh-oh...I d'op...[he says, bending over to pick up his shovel]

[Becky smiles at James] Hold on tight. [she glances at El and the kids] Hey, all! Ready for the beach?

[elari_brooks]

[turns at the sound of the door opening and smiles as James toddles out with his hands full.] Hey, you two! We were just waiting for you!

[Charlie sees James and rushes to him and gives him a hug] beech!

[Tinny bounces with excitement, knowing they're going to be leaving soon.]

[stands and picks Charlie up so he won't have to walk across the street] Okay, gang. Let's go to Mister Sal's and get our snacks, then go to the beach! [as the twins take off for the gate] Wait, for us, you two and stop at the street! Don't go across without holding Mine or Mama Becky's hand.

[James grins as he hugs CJ] We s'im!

[Becky lifts James] Hold tight to your toys as he cross the street. [smiles as the twins run towards the gate] No, they're not excited at all. [laughs]

[grins] they hate going to the beach.

[opens the gate and nods to Lani. Letting him know where they were going, not that he didn't already have a clue.] Ok, hold hands, so we don't run! [El grabs Leora's hand, while holding Tinny's leash in the hand that was also holding Charlie. TJ runs to Mama Becky and takes her hand]

[they cross the street and walk the half block over to Sal's to get their ice cream drinks for the beach]

[takes TJ's hand so they can safely cross the street; looks down at TJ, noticing a hop in his step] Ready for some fun?

[looks up at his Mama Becky] I am weady fo' fun! [grins as they walk to Sal's]

[once they arrive at the small ice cream stand] I wan' piapple, Mama!
