[cleaning out his desk, papers everywhere]

[leans on the door frame; smiles] Lose something?

[garrett_cain]

[glances up from a pile of papers; smiles] No, I'm cleaning and filing and sorting through stuff I can archive. [glances at the piles of papers; sighs] I'm gonna need another pot of coffee.

[cj_cain]

[grins] Coffee, I can make. [nods toward the pile] Need help?

[garrett_cain]

[he smiles] Anything older than two annuals needs to go in that box to be archived.

[cj_cain]

[pushes off the wall] Well, lucky for you, I'm an excellent archivist. [moves into the room and to the closest pile] Two annuals, huh? [reads the top page] Is this official business or [raises an eyebrow and nods toward he hidden room] official?

[garrett_cain]

[snorts] This is official business. I haven't gone in that room since Becky and I switched bodies. [looks over a file] Do not want to do that again. Breastfeeding hurts. [he adds without looking up from the paper he's reading]

[cj_cain]

[laughs and nods, then raises his head] What? [makes face as the mental image works in; shudders and grimaces] Wow.. the things you learn about your parents. [shakes his head and tosses a stack of pages into the box]

[garrett_cain]

[laughs] Ask Grampa about the time when he became a teenager again.

[cj_cain]

[grins] That, I knew about. [it was what got Glinda and Ira playing with the powder, too] Never got to see him, though. [gives Garrett a pout]

[moves another few pages to the box; holds up a folder] Where do the less than two annuals go?

[garrett_cain]

Remind me to show you a picture of him.

[points to a pile that has grown since he started] Right there, which will need to be sorted and then filed when we're done. [looks at CJ] Are you sure you want to help? I won't blame you if you high tail it outta here.

[cj_cain]

[smiles brightly] Are you kidding? [motions to the mess, then to Garrett] Don't get me wrong, I like.. sharing you guys. But, I have waited far too long for proper solo time with the folks. [shrugs his shoulders] I'll take every chance I can get.

[garrett_cain]

[grins] Good, because I enjoy actually talkin' to you rather than tryin' to figure out what baby you is sayin'.

[cj_cain]

[shrugs] I'm a simple guy. Hugs. Food. Nap. More hugs. Bottle. [makes a face and laughs]

[garrett_cain]

Clean diaper. [smirks]

[cj_cain]

[points to him] Most important. [glances toward the hallway] Mom here? [nods toward the apartment] Rebecca-mom?

[garrett_cain]

[shakes his head] She's at the ranch gettin' some fresh steaks for dinner. She'll probably be back soon, though.
