[nods] Oh, yes, those dreaded words. I used to hear them a lot myself. [leans down closer] You wanna know a secret? I still hear those words from my parents. [nods]

[leans until their foreheads touch; quietly] Daddy.. will you tell me why it is funny?

[he didn't think what he said was funny at all]

[changes into a pair of shorts and a light colored t-shirt. He calls in to have the van pick them up.]

[runs into the kitchen and opens the drawer with the armbands; picks up Garrett's green band and his blue one] Here, Daddy. [holds up the green and pushes the drawer shut]

[takes the band] Thanks, kiddo. [says to Max as he wraps the band around his wrist] Need help with yours.

[holds his arm out] Yes pleeeese [gives Garrett a grin; he's good at helping Little Garrett with his band, but can't get his own]
