[holds his hand out to give Grampa his present]

[he's not sure if he should afraid or not] Is this for me?

[smiles and nods; holds the gift out a little higher]

[travis_cain]

[smiles when he sees the tiny frog] Thanks, kiddo, just what I always wanted. [laughs] I'm impressed that you were even able to catch it. [takes the frog] Let's put it in the garden so it'll eat all the bugs.

[watches wide-eyed, nodding at what Grampa says] Bye-bye?

[travis_cain]

[nods] Yeah, bye-bye. It'll be better outside where it can eat bugs.

[heartof_thezone]

[scrunches his nose] Ooo bugs.

[travis_cain]

[nods] Yeah, bugs are icky, but frogs love 'em. [offers his other hand] C'mon, let's go put the frog in Grandma's garden and then we'll wash our hands.

[reaches for Grampa's hand] -key! -key!

[travis_cain]

[smiles; leads CJ out to the garden to release the frog. Once there, he kneels down and then opens his hand.] Okay, little fella, eat up all the bugs.

[heartof_thezone]

[kneels next to Gramps and watches intently] -ump. [bounces in place] -ump!

[lets out a happy shriek when the frog finally takes off, disappearing into the foliage]

There he goes! [stands to his full height] Let's go wash our hands and then see if Grandma has any cookies.

[stands when Grampa does and follows beside him; starts hopping in a stunted jerk, pretending he's a frog]

[smiles as they walk, well, as he walks and CJ hops]

[hops and comes down funny, falling against Grampa's leg] Uho.. [pats Grampa's leg and looks up with a pouty lip]
