Welcome and Rules
Welcome to ozsixwords.
This community was inspired by sixwordstories and various fandom-specific six word communities (like scifi_sixwords and treksixwords). It is by no means a replacement for these communities, just a haven, of sorts, for the Baum-inspires muses that live in our heads.
The rules are quite simple:
♦ The basic rules of LiveJournal always apply. You can find them HERE.
♦ Posts are six words and six words only. Struck-through or not, not five, not seven. SIX.
♦ OCs, AUs, any book, movie or imagining. If it's Oz, it's welcome. (On this note, if you want to RP Baum's Santa Claus or the gang from the Blues Traveler video, it counts. Really.)
♦ Under some circumstances - if justified for your plotting needs - non-Oz muses can reply to posts, but please start threads with an Oz-muse.
♦ Multiple muses are welcome and encouraged. Whether or not the muses notice the similarities is up to you. Remember to play nice.
♦ Journals hosting multiple muses are welcome.
♦ All posts will be assumed "open to all" (OTA) unless otherwise specified.
♦ You may use the status tabs however you wish to set scenes, 'verses or "filter" to certain muses. Please use one of the fields to differentiate between OTA, 'verse-specific or locked to a certain player(s).
♦ We've got tags and we ask that you please use them. For a breakdown, go HERE.
♦ If your entry is going to veer into R-territory or above, PLEASE lock the post to the community and/or post it in your own LJ and link back.
♦ You are welcome to post as much as you like, but please use discretion in spreading those posts out.
♥ We're all adults. Let's act like it, please. If a concern arises, please let a mod know via PM or THIS POST.
