I have free time on my hands, so time to update on summer. Let's start with Dan, who's been living with me for most of the summer because his dad was being a douche ([two weeks before the end of school] Hey! Im moving to Austin TX to take a lesser paying job. You should beg one of the families from church to live with them because you sure as hell cant live in Texas and work in Aurora!) is moving into an apartment he got in Plano. Plano is a working class town west of here (take 88 a ways, then some other roads). The streets are all first names (which is cute!). Walmart dominates the lives of the locals. There are bars on every corner. Dan lives right next to the most white trash bowling alley ever. The owner has a bushy handlebar mustache, long stringy hair, and sports a trucker hat and Nascar T-Shirt. He sits in the bar all day watching the Blue Collar Comedy tour next to his bloody Chucky doll (disturbing). Bowling is only 3 bucks a game, shoes and everything. The radio plays a steady diet of Foreigner. Needless to say, it's awesome. And I hate bowling. Down the block is Granny's, the diner that did hell to my digestive tract. Piece of advice, when in a restaurant you find kind of shady, do not order anything with mushrooms in it.
Not much in Dan's apartment right now. Just some very large speakers, frozen pizzas, a couple of Miller High Lifes (The Beer of Champagnes) and 2 couches (stereotypical frat boy apartment?) But it will be deluxe.
