Watch as my Livejournal becomes more a tool of shameless promotion
Strokes show... ridiculous. Eagles of Death Metal Open. Lead singer had the sleaziest mustache ive ever seen. Sleazy Rawk ("Milwaukee... you wanna rock???" and "its so nice to see the ladies up front... lets hear a scream from the ladies"). Good clean fun. The Strokes themselves put on a good show also. A mosh pit and crowd surfing at a Strokes show seemed like a contradiction in terms... but it happened. I got so fed up with crowd surfers I just let one drop. This kinda filled me with guilt for the rest of the show.
So Im going to prom again. Kristin asked me with by scratching a rock on concrete. I couldnt figure out what she wrote... i was convinced she wrote down "promp". I gotta top last years tux... ive never felt classier than in that green bow tie. It should be cool.
"Snakes On a Plane" is reaching cult status. Finally more people are listening to my radio show then just my mom. Last weeks show featured an interview with Chris Rajki on how to build a fort in your dorm room and we held a telethon to clean Tip's room. Listen in the future because we might even get Chicago band "Chin Up Chin Up" in the studio, though thats still kinda up in the air. Listen on marquetteradio.mu.edu from 7-10 on Wednesday nights if you wanna hear it. (i feel kinda pathetic doing this)
Im in Wheaton right now... if anyones home give me a call... i havent been doing much worthwhile so far though tonight was fun.
