Alright guys, I’ll be back to posting scene lists tomorrow, but today I have to ask you to forgive me for taking a little detour and being incredibly wordy. Um…sorry about that in advance.

The only things I liked in Stranger in a Strange Land were the aloe scene which still makes me squee and the reveal that Jack's tattoo says: "He walks among us, but he is not one of us." Granted I would like that even more if I thought that was going to be relevant, but I honestly think the writers just thought it sounded cool. Which it did, but still.

And nobody deserves Bai Ling. She was in an episode of Angel once and was equally horrible there. *shudders*

I think a lot of the small episodes suffer from being wedged between cliffhangers. What happened to you with "Expose" is exactly what happened to me with "The Other 48 Days". It's hard to appreciate an episode when you're dying to see if Sayid is going to Hulk out on Ana Lucia. Thank heavens for DVDs.

Heh. Emo!Jack is my favorite Jack too! I know most of the fandom has grown weary of Jack, but I've always been fascinated by him. He's just so epically flawed, but he's always trying to lead, to fix, to do his best. And so often he fails miserably. I love that in "316" he's become this zen, surrender to destiny guy. It's heartbreaking in a way because that's so not Jack. I'm hoping we can subtitle Season Six- "How Jack got his mojo back". ;)
