100 Things Masterpost: 100 Awesome (Fictional) Platonic, Romantic and Familial Relationships

Thanks to input from my awesome flist, I’ve finally settled on a topic: 100 Awesome (Fictional) Platonic, Romantic and Familial Relationships. This is a topic that’s near and dear to my heart because fictional relationships are my crack. I love exploring and discussing the dynamics that exist between characters. You can expect each category to be flexible, encompassing relationships that are both central to the plot and those that exist in the margins that have largely been filled in either by my imagination or fandom’s collective imagination, or both. There will be friendships, old married couples, enemies, families both of the blood and found variety and ships that make me swoon. There will be trios and larger groups in addition to duos because relationships and bonds don’t always form in tidy two-person packages. And even when they do, sometimes the second person isn’t a person at all, sometimes it’s a ship (The Doctor & the Tardis).
There will be variety is what I’m saying here.
Likewise, I’ll try to draw from books and films too, but I tend to get majorly invested in stories that are ongoing, so expect the vast majority of the relationships to come from television shows and series of books/films. I expect the posts for this project to all remain open, so you can bookmark this post if you’re not on my flist and I’ll try to keep a list of links to all subsequent posts here to keep things tidy and easy to find.
I’m excited to start sharing my relationship loves and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts and feedback as well! There will be many feels on my part, I’m sure.
