OMG, I wrote something. *Snuggles flist* I’m so glad you guys gave me prompts. More ficlets are on their way, I just got bowled over by

Oh wow. This is incredible, kind of chilling in a way, how it could all go completely wrong for Miles, but then it's seriously plausible if you think about it. Poor Miles! Really clever idea, and the last line was great too. :)
You know, I've thought about how this could continue but I'm not sure if I'm motivated enough to pull off a long term story. There might be a companion piece at some point though. I like the idea of inserting Miles into season one because if there's one thing that would make that season more awesome it's definitely Miles. ;)
"I miss the seventies" indeed! LOL I loved Miles deciding to get answers out of that dead guy rather than try to shake something out of the living. That's our practical ghostbuster! I love him not panicking at the plane crash or at Sawyer's lack of recognition, but just finding some less-conspicuous clothes and preparing to settle in. It looks like everyone else whom Miles knows is reset, but there are two Miles, one 3 years older and doubled up on himself (since 2004 Miles wouldn't have been wearing a Dharma jumpsuit even if he did end up on 815) and one, presumably, in LA? (Or are there other three-years-older formerly-815ers in LA while their younger selves crash?) This fic could go on for months. At least Miles now has a chance to meet Shannon--maybe he can save her from the sex-with-Sayid curse.
I think at this point Miles just takes the weirdness in stride. ;)
Yep, there would be two Miles and if he couldn't find a way out of 2004 his past self would arrive on the freighter just like he always did. Poor Miles, nothing ever goes his way.
This is so fantastic. From beginning to end. There were so many wonderful little parts, like the whole paragraph about wanting the cheeseburger, and Jack as Captain America in a suit, and Claire not having been among the living. FABULOUS. I was laughing and riveted the whole time. A mem. :)
