a few noteworthy items:
pitchfork gave the buddha machine an 8.2, so there! the one thing that really doesn't matter to most people is the thing they rate appropriately. but jenn's happy with hers, and i'm happy about that.
i had my first class of the new semester today. it was only an hour long, but that hour seemed to last hours, since the history being discussed was middle ages and reformation, a dry subject for me. tomorrow is my first narrative theory class - whee!
jenn stayed with me until this past sunday in c'ville. i've been going out or just drinking every night since then... this can't be a good thing.
we saw the falsies on saturday night and i got my very own falsies tee. also got to hear a folky/quirky singer-songwriter who made up a song on the spot from an audience-suggested title. way cool.
watched the two towers in german the other day, "because i could".
had an awesome listening party with gerrit and josh p last night, where gerrit played his jazz band's (mars attacks) new recording, josh p played some of his solo basement tapes and i presented my live aus berlin acoustic ep. it's really fun having musically inclined friends.
downloaded monopoly onto my laptop for no apparent reason and have been playing it on and off today and yesterday while listening to tunes.
