Writing Is Getting Spooky Again, In All the Noble Counties

 I feel a little guilty for not posting about this since June, but it's now official: I have a contract to produce, for The History Press, a book titled something like Haunted Noble County. Probably with an "Indiana" added because, it turns out, there are more Noble Counties.

I have to push myself to do the interviews, but otherwise I always have fun doing these projects. I just have to be careful who I talk to about them: If someone's eyes start glazing over, they might not be a fan of local history.

They can be great fun--the author usually finds interesting stuff more general writers don't go looking for.

Oddly enough pharmacies are carrying them lately. My cvs back home and my parent's Rite Aid here near Pittsburgh

Last I checked, my Images of America book was still available in a local CVS, and for awhile the local grocery store carried it. My big surprise was a few months ago, when I found out my local library carried ALL my books--including humor and fiction works--in their genealogy/local history room.
