I don’t know how much I’ll be able to be around for the next couple of weeks, so in addition to my columns I wanted to leave you all with this holiday rerun, a bit of fluff from last year; just a fun piece that came close to being titled “Little Robot Girl”.Title: Buffybot’s Secret

You know, it occurred to me this morning who Tara/Amber Benson reminds me of. Did you ever watch the final couple of years (circa early 1970s) of the TV series My Three Sons? Remember when Chip, the third son (after Mike and Robbie and before Ernie and Dodie) got married to his girlfriend Polly while they were college students? Polly was a dead ringer for Tara! Same shy, hesitant demeanor and personality; same awkward, almost clumsy body language and posture; same hairstyle and color; same pretty, heartshaped face. Spooky! O___O
"Buffy Classic"...bwahahaha! I love it!
“There are many mansions in Heaven, Bottie.” Now Tara’s smile became a little wistful, as if she was thinking about something far away. “Who knows? There may even be one for you.”
Aw, this reminds me of the part in 2001: A Space Odyssey where Hal the computer asks one of the astronauts if it (Hal) has a soul, and the astronaut replies without hesitation that yes, whether you're made of carbon or silicon, everyone has a soul. :)

“I need a picture of everyone.”
Now Richard did look up. “In the world?”
LMAO!

I'm glad you liked Tara's comment about Heaven; it reminded me of the 2001 line, too, but mostly I just wanted to leave the door open for all sort of possibilities ...
As for Richard's comments about pictures, that's a direct quote -- from me. I don't recall now which of my daughters told me they needed a picture of everyone, but every now and then I'm on the ball enough to get a good zinger off. :-)
