My foot itches. I don’t know why. There’s no rash and I don’t see any bites. But it REALLY itches. It woke me up the night before last. Where’d I put my hydrocortisone?
Something spooked Romeo yesterday. Most nights I open the door and there he is, yelling at me and doing his “I love you, please feed me” dance. Not last night. Last night he dashed out the door and down the stairs as soon as I opened it. I went after him. “What’s the matter?” I asked. He cowered on the floor of the dining room. He perked up a little when I petted him, but as soon as I stopped, he was on his haunches again. I went back upstairs and looked around; nothing seemed out of place. I put some food out for him; he was brave enough to come and eat, but he either hung around me or went downstairs the rest of the night. He usually goes out in the morning while I brush my teeth and make my lunch, but he wasn’t interested today. He parked himself in the middle of my bed and proceeded to clean himself. Hrm…
