Today I got to do four things I've never done before.

1. Travelled through the Burnley Tunnel in Melbourne.

2. Drove over the West Gate Bridge.

3. Went shopping at Highpoint Shopping Centre.

4. Met eight of the cast members from everybody's favourite new show Glee.

Not the most organised event I've attended (truth be told I don't think they were expecting so many people to show up) but definitely worth the effort. Even with 2 hours travel either way and the aches and pains I'm gonna have tomorrow from the mob crush.

A little blurry as Mum was taking these from the floor above while we were waiting in line.

Left to right: Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Mark Salling (Puck), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Kevin McHale (Artie), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Cory Monteith (Finn) and Lea Michele (Rachel). (Hope I have all those correct - also Jane Lynch and another yet to be revealed star are part of this promo tour but just weren't at this signing today) They all seemed rather overwhelmed by the whole thing too. I don't think they were expecting such a reaction/turn-out either.

Caught in the crush.

Signage - in which Cory and Lea seemed to have traded places so Finn was the last face seen. Fine by me, the boy has such a wonderful smile.

The spoils. Channel 10 really has gone all out promoting this show. Not just flying over so many stars and holding events like this but they had stacks of items that were being handed out as well. The single had to be bought for the singing and while waiting in line little badges/pins, 'Glee' brand Gum from America, posters and even a bunch of 'Glee' shirts were handed out. Amazing. I would have killed for one of the shirts. :D

Signatures close up. The whole thing happened so fast I can't remember exactly which signature belongs to who but I think I should be able to work it out. I do know that the one over the ee's is Cory's. :P

Cute little badge/pin.

Bonus poster. Was only meant to go to the first 150 people to buy the single but I guess they had a few more to spare.

Flyer I grabbed from JB Hi-Fi. Not one of the first 150 so no ticket to the special screening - that would have been more than awesome - but still, signage.

And just for fun.
