8 weeks.
That's the amount of time it took for the Internet to be set up at the new place I moved into, partly because the Internet provider lied about when the new account was supposed to be set up, being put on hold by the Internet provider when trying to find out why the hell the Internet wasn't working, the modem being broken and the fact that it took way too long for me to realise that it was and being too lazy to trek down to the library to send and check e-mails to and from Internet provider because that's their preferred way of communicating.
Also within the past 8 weeks I've heard that Snow Patrol song at least three times per day either on the radio, while at the shops or on TV. Words cannot describe the hatred I have for it.
