Well we went to Florida for Cody's graduation. NOT! He missed it by 2 points (paperwork end) and didn't find out until the night we got there. We visited with family and friends a while and then decided to see if the cabin in Mississippi was available an extra day. It was so we left early and stayed at the cabin at Tishomingo State Park, MS Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. It was so nice. The cabin was very rustic and cool. We want to go back in the spring and fall. It was a beautiful day Monday and we hiked some. We got in late afternoon so decided to wait and continue exploring the next two days. Well it started raining Monday night and Tuesday morning it had turned into snow, ice and wind shears. So, we didn't get to do much. On Wednesday the wind was biting needles so didn't get to do much that day either. On Thursday when we got ready to leave it had started to warm up. lol Oh well we'll go back.
While in the cabin I received a call from the doctor who did the surgery on my hand. They analyzed the growth (I call it) and said it was a wart with skin cancer cells behind it. They wanted me to come in to have more taken out and scraped. :( I told them I was in Mississippi and could not come in until after the 15th. My appointment is the 20th. I'm scared because the little they did hurt so bad and is just starting to heal and now they are going to go back in and screw it all up and bigger. I'm right handed and it is hard to do things without using that hand. Not sure what all will happen. I may have to have Wade help me dress and so forth until it heals. They'll test it some more and hopefully they won't find more and have to do more surgery. Hopefully they will get it all.
