Cowboys and Indians Weekend
Wade and I are on another adventure.:)
We left Saturday morning for Oklahoma City, OK. We finally found our hotel and piddled around till bedtime. Sunday we went to see the National Cowboy Museum and the Myraid Gardens. Both will have photos up on my Webshots page soon. The Cowboy Museum was awesome! I also talked Wade into getting a chinese acupressure massage. We both had one and it was GREAT!
We left Oklahoma City this morning and headed to Tahlequah, OK. On the way we stopped at the Five Civilized Tribes Museum in Muskogee, OK. Not many photos there because not allowed in Museum. But some. Got to Tahlequah and found the hotel and then headed to the Cherokee Heritage Center. It was really cool. The Museum sorta made me cry and feel sad a bit. All those people dying in the Trail of Tears. They had a real Cherokee village there and some other stuff (photos will be up on Webshots soon).
We're back in the hotel after eating dinner and relaxing. Wade is watching the FSU vs. Clemson game rooting for Clemson of course.:) I'm playing on the computer. About to get comfortable and read a while before bed.
Tomorrow we leave for home and we'll stop at a few state parks on the way. Goodie!
