Here's my translation of the new comments for TTR's offical site, my personal comments are between [brakets]. It took me quite a while. Daisuke, I hate your neverending sentences! ~.~
※The picture was taken on September 15th in the after record studio, after the recording of the first episode.
Questions:
1) There was a gap between the end of the TV series and this Tokyo part, how was it? How did you feel about it?
2) Tell us if there was any moment of notice when you played this Tokyo part (any difficult moment, any moment you had trouble with, etc.). Plus, tell us if there is any moment about which you think "there is something I want you to see here".
IRINO Miyu (Syaoran's voice)
1) Ever since I have heard of the OAD's story, I've read the original comic. As the day of the recording was approching, I felt suspence, tension, excitement... various things. As the recording beginning, I couldn't find back the suspence and the tension... . Hurry, I want to do the next recording! That's fun!
2) Of course, Syaoran was awaken!! How it happens is funny... . The interesting part is when Kurogane and Fai are arguing! This is wonderful!!
[It seems OVA is pretty much along the manga's lines, hence Miyu's lack of suspence and tension. Nevertheless, he seems quite excited about the project. He seems to be a late comer to the original comic, in contrast with Tooru who have been read the original work for a long time already.]
MAKINO Yui (Sakura's voice)
1) I always, always wanted to do the Tokyo part. I was so happy this wish was granted!! The cast met for the first time in a while, playing the meeting of the characters. Somehow it was a happy feeling. At the same time we wanted to do our best!! And the atmosphere became tensed.
2) Altough I don't appear much in the first half, I intended to impress the watchers with Sakura's dignified strength in the last part and I'll be glad if the change is noticeable.
[They were playing the characters meeting? That's so nice of them, in a cracky way. XD It seems she was reading the manga too, they are all quite into the series. ^_^ ]
INADA Tooru (Kunogane's voice)
1) I was a bit anxious before, but when I listened to us speaking out the lines, it was clear we all returned easily to Tsubasa's world. Although there was a gap, Kurogane came out immediately.
2) Since I've read the serialised chapters all along, it was finally possible to do the line(s) than I wanted to say, the scene(s) than I wanted to play. Please, behold the arguing scene with Fay!!
[That guys just love his work, I'm so happy to read his lines! ^_^ Isn't he totally into Kurogane? And here the arguing scene is mentionned again, it seems to be quite memorable (I can't wait to watch this OAD). I wonder if they just mean the dialogue in chapter 112 (which I would hardly qualify as arguing) or if Ohkawa made the exchange more intense...]
NAMIKAWA Daisuke (Fay's voice)
1) At first, I felt relieved that they had done a proper ending. Of course, after such a long time, I was worried I wouldn't be able to do Fay the way I used to. But the recording was filled with good tensed emotions, it was possible to play this part while feeling nostalgia. I once said Fay is fun to play and that I would like to rediscover him one day.
2) There was difficult parts as bits of Fai's inner complexity were slowly showing up on the outside, I hope the watchers will be able to see it. Just like the original work, it's a deep and insideful story. This is the first part, so it's still just the beginning, but I think with everyone's help we may build the Tokyo part to a climax. My best regards.
[His never ending sentences get on my nerves! That's so confusing! ~_~ Besides, there nothing much new, there so much so can add when your the fourth to comment. He seems to be quite into Fai's psychology and motivation, which is a godd thing. ^_^]
